For some reason, I am having trouble with Photobucket.

Is there a way to upload photos directly from the computer to The Ruger Forum? :?:

I don't think the forum has the disk space nor the mechanism to upload. Photobucket can be a bit of a challenge... I've got quite a lot of folders there where all the photos have disappeared for some reason...

Here is a link you may find useful: http://plaintips.com/sites-like-photobucket

I actually have a blog site that I'm developing, which can host photos, but it's not yet quite ready for public consumption! (Hopefully by Jan 2017...) ;)

Good luck!! If I can help you, don't feel shy about PM'ing.

Best regards, Pete

Salmon eye showed me how to use http://tinypic.com/index.php when I first tried posting photos. He even took the time to write out instructions to follow. Works every time for me with no problems.

About once a year or so I have to upgrade something with my browser to be able to copy anything I've uploaded to photo bucket.... usually the uploading and copying the link and then pasting it here is simple... but then all of a sudden I won't be able to copy the link and have to to the upgrade thing to my browser.

No sir, not that I am aware of.
I have tried and all I get is a post with a picture that I can see and no one else can.

I have discovered that you need an url to attach the picture/photo to.
Since all of the pictures I want to post are on my computer I can't put any of them up.

At least that is my experience. I am not a computer genius. Or a genius at anything really..........

Ok, got signed up and it seems to fill the bill all right.

Only trouble I had was in resizing the images, but finally stumbled on to it. 8)

Well okay good deal, open up tinypic. You see where it says resize, hit the down arrow and highlight the 15" screen 800x600 and hit upload now and it will fit your screen and ours.

What most people don't realize is that most of the providers that you buy your internet access from also give you free space for making your own homepage and or posting photos. You just have to know how to use it. The photo below is posted on airenetworks.com on their email service. They provide my internet access. I have 114 photos on there now and it only shows 2% space usage.
