I know we can see what we want to see in cloud formations.
A couple days ago, while viewing these very high clouds, my little brain told me I was seeing an eagle...

And a couple days later we were up in the Coast Range taking a drive for my boys birthday.. In the distance is Saddle Mountain, viewed from Nicolai Mountain, both in the North Coast Range of Oregon. And both points are roughly 3,000' above sea level.

I've enjoyed sitting with kids or grandkids looking at clouds and finding shapes in them. Once your imagination gets in gear the shapes just start to appear. The eagle is a good one.

WOW! Shades of my childhood! Many times in the summer we would lie in the cool grass and make "pictures" in the clouds. Not only animals and stuff, but one time a steam locomotive!

And, as a grown up (sort of) Nita and I were driving just befo sunset and the clouds looked to me like a filet of salmon. Nita's remark was "You must be hungry."

After all these years of flying, I never get tired of flying thru the top a big white puffy then the instant break out into the fantastic bright blue. It will take your breath away.

I have taken a few younger kids for a ride thru a cloud so they could touch a cloud. Most are surprised to find out it is just water.

You do have to be careful. Some bad clouds have been known to grow big rocks inside of them:)

I like my view of clouds the best.
Yes I also love looking at clouds from the ground. A bright clear blue sky with pure white build-ups just amazing from above or below
