Well, people have been putting their personal stamp on that since it started being performed at public activities. She’s no worse than some others I’ve heard. I guess it’s the thought that counts…but possibly an audition should be mandatory.

I love the song, but I mute the TV if/when somebody performs it before a game. Most don't know their rockets from rockits and when some decide to kick it up an octave at the end it can be downright painful to listen. I do enjoy when a band plays plays the Anthem, sans vocals.

So many artist butcher it. They're saying Labell is 80 give her a break, she forgot some words & added her own little twist as well.

Well, it is of my belief that if there EVER was a song that needs to be sung correctly & by an artist that is capable to do so, or find another artist that is capable & understands the "sung correctly" part, it should be this one.

Just one song that should be treated with the utmost respect. A few million left to twist around if ya want.
