In April our pastor's wife died of cancer. They had been married 40+ years. The cancer took her very quick about three weeks from diagnosis to Heaven. He tried to hang on for about a month, but the elders decided it would be nice to let him have a sabbatical. During this time, he visited families, and old friends visited a church he planted 30 years ago and joined a mission team in Europe. He is a good man and Im glad to have him back, bt his helpmate is gone, More than before the church will have to rally behind him and do the best they can to fill the void.
