Parts for Ruger Rings

I bumble fingered while messing with a set of scope rings. The little tab or key thing that fits in the recess in the action took a dive onto my shop floor. I can't find it. Anybody know where I can get one?

I’m confused,,, isn’t the “index” cast into the base?

I have never really ever studied it,,, but have never seen it as a loose/ removable piece.

Might learn something today.

This caused me to go and look at some of my rings. The key is definitely cast into the ring. Maybe different rings have the key as an insert... If so, I've never seen that.

But then, I'll further question the OP... Is there any chance you're talking about the clamp parts?

nice picture and I doubt he is referring to the Key as the "hump" ?guide ? ( stub) but the cross pieces, the nut and the clamp, fit into the "cuts" on the sides of the rib, top of the gun, some are stainless like pictured but in the beginning I believe they used the blued pieces, even on the stainless set....:unsure:

parts "bin", hell last week the post office charged me $8.50 to send back a "defective" LCR case that the factory does NOT use, or offer, anymore.....sent me back the broken zippered case......duh......(n)(n)

Ive got a bigger problem than I thought. You are correct that tab is cast on real Ruger rings. This is a set of QD Talleys, I think. I might have to make a replacement.

Well the “Talley’s” statement makes sense. A call to them will get you all fixed up.
