Anything good or bad I should know about the Para Warthog?

Local guy has one like new in box with a couple of extra mags. GunBroker and others show lots for sale but not a huge number have sold. I assume because it's a higher-end gun.

Any thoughts or comments on the Para Warthog?

THey're good guns, especially the older ones. Not high end at all, just a typical small 1911. I've actually shot 2 different ones at my gun club.

Good solid guns from my experience.

I call them one of the "too" guns.

I mean too heavy for concealed carry and too short for target shooting.

Nice guns and sturdy though.

My belief anyway.
