P95

What's a FOID card? Here in Louisiana, all you need is a La.drivers license and some money. BTW...congrats on the P95. It's the only 9mm I own and I'm damn happy with it. I'm a revo guy but I like shooting this tank. It will outlast most guns in it's price range.

A FOID card is a Firearm Owners IDentification card. You have to have one in Illinois to own a firearm. You apply through the Illinois State Police, cost is $10. They do a background check on you to make sure you have no felony convictions. It also takes time. Got mine quick, 35 days.

Is that a one-time fee or is it annual??

BTW, I have a fairly recently purchased P95 as well. Great pistol, always goes bang.

WOW! Guess us Louisianians don't know how good we have it down here. If anything like that tries to pass down here we might just have an outright revolution. Other than class 3 and felons we're free and clear to do whatever for the most part as long as you have no issues.

BTW...once again,my P95 rocks!

Congrats on the new P95. I also have a P95 which I bought used last summer. Its a great shooting gun. I recently got my carry licence so I got an LCP since the P95 is a tank to haul around. I can't get used to the small gun though. I'm going to try out an LC9. Good luck with your first gun.

It's a one-time fee, and the card is good for 10 years.

I wouldn't say that too loud or repeat it because your fine liberal gestapo
group will cut the 10 yrs to one and make you renew for more money..
Remember they were trained by dilly Daly

Just sayin' :D

:D Have had my P95DC since 2000, have put several thousand rounds down range, no FTF or malfunctions of any kind have even fired about 2500 rounds of the various Russian brands, I just clean it, oil it and reload it.
Awesome gun and with the right holster it becomes a stealth tank.

The P95 has been such an awesome suprise! I bought the gun not knowing much about it at all other than I liked the way it felt in my hand, I liked the way it looked and I had a few people rave about its reliability. I've got a couple thousand absolute trouble free rounds through mine and have decided, despite its size, to CC it!
