My neighbor bought a brand new P95 about 8 months ago. We finally took it out to shoot it today. We were using Walmart 115gr Winchester ball. It shot 4" low at 8 yards for both of us. The front site looks like a low one, so I don't know if they offer anything lower. Any suggestions? Will Ruger correct this for free? Thanks! Rob

Update: neighbor called Ruger and they are sending him a new rear site. If it was mine, I would dump it, as the rear sight on it is already a bit high for carry. We'll follow the progress, as I am sure that I will be the one putting the new sight on.

My P944 shoots low too. It may be partially my fault as I installed a front Hi Viz sight, years back and it's possible it's partially to blame, but the gun shot a little low before if I remember right. Without an elevation adjustment in the rear, the only thing that can be done is maybe shaving down the front sight. Another identical rear sight won't do anything to fix it.

I think it will be a taller rear sight to correct the problem. Not what I would like, but it's not mine. Plus he is not a "gun guy" so I don't think he will care, as long as it works...

I didn't even know Ruger made taller rear sights, but it's possible I guess.

My KP95 impacted low also as did my KP90. I called Ruger and ordered the tallest rear sight available for both plus installed Hi-Viz front sights...now the sight picture is where I want it.
