P95 locked up during reassembly.

I fixed it, but has anyone else has this problem. The camblock/spring rod assembly somehow got turned a little to one side and locked it right up tight. I had to twist the guide rod with a pair of vise grips while holding the slide back to undue it. Springs went flying, but I was able to find the lock ring and put it back together.
 
Been there done that. I didnt have the skills to fix it so I took it to gunsmith. Long storey short I know where I made my mistake and now can assemble the fun perfectly. Only cost me $10 to have smith look at it.
 
You can usually whop the hell out of it and it will pop loose....

and yes the same thing happened to me once.... can't quite see how the springs went flying.... never had the lock ring come off like that.

Own a first generation P95...
And was clueless, never heard of this problem before.

Thanks...will be careful when re assemble!
