I finally got to try out my two brand new rugers. The P95 is my new favorite 9mm. I ran about 250 rounds of a mix of RWS, WWB, and Federal Hydrashoks. I did have 1 failure to feed a WWB round, which I attribute to my getting sloppy with my grip. I tried to make it happen again but I could not. I shot slow and fast and it just kept going bang. I found the D/A trigger easy to pull and found the S/A trigger super fast. I could never get that speed with my 2 Glocks. The grip is slightly thicker than my G17 but easily managable. I bought this gun because I wanted a 9mm that was S/A & D/A and this was the cheapest one that had positive reviews. It has exceeded my expectations greatly and satisfied my "need" for this type of pistol.
The LCP was also a great buy. I ran about 250 rounds of Magtech FMJ bullets without a single malfunction. I also put 40 trouble free rounds of Speer Gold Dots through the pipe. Wow, this litte gun impressed me. I found both the P95 and LCP excellent buys, especially the p95 which was 50 dollars cheaper than the LCP! I dont want to get a different caliber but I may need a .357 cal for my birthday. Guess which manufacturer I will choose?
