If I recall correctly, there was a special run of Talo P94's. Maybe it was somebody else that set up the special run, instead of Talo. As I recall, they came with Pachmayr grips and a different grey finish. I know I now need to send Chet a check, but in the meantime, does anybody know the serial number range for them.
Thanks

That's part of my problem. No pictures, just something I saw. I 'think' I remember seeing one at a gun show a year or so ago. I remember it being set up with Pachmayr grips and having a finish kind of like the one on the Redhawk all weather. It might be that what I am remembering is not what I saw back then. I think the fellow who was selling it said it was a Lipsey or Talo. And that's another area for error. He could have been making a marketing story for a Frankinstein or a gun that was customized. What I remember was kind of like the Special Edition that Ruger put out, but not quite. I might be remembering wrongly.
Heck. it seems like on some days I can hardly remember my own name, so I might be barking up the wrong tree.

Well in 1996 Ruger made the 94 and 93 models with the REM finish as a factory option. Ruger also calls it "Target Gray" on the Super Red Hawk.

I hope there was never a pistol put out with the Pachmayr grips. I don't like those. I have small hands, haha.

I have posted several times on here about the REM finish. You could try to search those posts out and see if that is what you saw.

That looks like it, except I remember the Pach grips. That REM finish is a nice touch. I had a single six Hunter at the time that had Pach grips and I never could make friends with those grips on that Hunter. I've had other guns with them that I liked. Could be the ones I remember were add ons. I think that solves the mystery. Thanks
