I have an opportunity to get a P90 Special edition 06601. I’ve had no luck uncovering any useful information on the web to explain what’s so "special" about it, so figured I’d ask here. Thanks in advance for any info.

Not familiar with the special edition, but I love my p90, it is old school cool to me.

When I purchased mine new, it only came with one magazine if I recall correctly.

As others have said, it seems to have been a 2-tone model that shipped in a case with a "Special Edition" sticker on it and only one magazine (the 2 spares in the box below are ones I picked up when I bought it). It's a Safety/Decocker model.
Mine is a P90TH, which means the Two-Tone (T) and has the Hogue grip (H), which is Model 6603.
P90s are one of those guns that folks should snap up if they see one...Some say they're the best of the P-series. My P90 is the only P-Series I have, so can't testify to that...but I love mine.
