P90 not dead yet

Let us hope that the P90 is to continue, and that Davidson's are NOT simply clearing-out, old, now redundant, stock!

I own 2 P-series RUGERS.

Both kick ass!

Although a ton of them out there in the "used" market...

I highly suggest to any that have been considering a P-series gun...
Snap it up now...before prices go stupid!

I have 2-97DC's, and a 90DC. They will make my Grandkids smile someday. In the meantime I am enjoying them. I just named my KP90DC the "Fat Lady". When she sings, it's all over. :D

@ P90
That is a good one!

@GhosT
That is what I have been doing this past year replacing a lot of the guns I sold off over the years. I just started getting back into guns this year.

Pernal, that's what I've been doing over the last year as well, replacing those I've stupidly gotten rid of: Ruger P90, S&W J-frame, S&W K-frame and soon, a 9mm Glock. Good times. :)

I was in the Prescott factory last week, and the P90 was still being produced. No promise of how long the production would continue, so if you want one, now is a good time to buy. However, for the record, they were still cranking them out last week.

Excellent news :D :D

I heard that so few P90 parts are shared with the other P series guns and that's why the P90 is taking so long to come to an end. I think Ruger is shooting itself in the foot by doing away with the P series but that's just me. I know I'll never buy another Ruger centerfire pistol because I hate plastic guns. Plastic in guns is like particle board in houses, you just don't do it.

I just bought another P90, already have the KP90 and KP89. Not sure what came over me. Didn't have an all black one... couldn't stop myself.

Well, as far as addictions go, it could be a lot worse! :D

I've heard of plastic guns causing respiratory problems, but for a different reason than particle board. However, I agree with you completely. I would add to the list---Chinese tools in my toolbox.

Not to hi-jack the thread but .... what is the difference between the 90 and 97? Aren't they both .45 ACP?

Thanks P90 ~ I might have to start looking for a 90 or 97. I've got a 95DC ... the 95's are plentiful around here but I can't remember the last time I saw a 90 or 97.

I prefer the 90 because of the anodized aluminum frame, but the 97 is more like the 95 in size and shape.
