So, either my search-fu sucks, or there isn't much info on this.
Is there a good way to attach a tactical light, such as a Streamlight TLR-1S, to my lovely, lovely P89T? Without screwwing it up horribly? I'd rather not have to drill/tap and such.
I ask because I currently have 2 Rugers...my P89 and my SR9c. I like the SR9c for a carry pistol, but having a light on it is impractical and bulky, even though it has the lower rail. As such, I'd like to add a light to the P89 and use it for my primary, stumble-around-in-the-dark-naked home defense pistol.
I suppose I could have a hand-held light, or remove and re-attach the light to the SR9c (remove for carry, attach for the sock drawer), but it sure would be nifty to have a light on the P89.
Anyone have any ideas?
