I aquired a P345 a couple of months ago. I fired over 300 rounds of CCI Blazer Brass 230 Gr. JHP and it had operated flawlessly. Recently, I experienced several issues with the slide sticking back, which required a firm rap with the heel of my hand to break free. It was so far back that there was no more room to pull it back further. There are no markings to indicate where, or what is causing this to happen. Anyone have any idea what may be causing this issue?

As I stated in another post about the P345, my buddy had to remove over 20 tiny pieces of steel from the internals of his gun before he finally stopped failures. I bet that is what is going on with yours. I really don't know why Ruger doesn't flush them out during the machining/assembly process to help eliminate these issues. I would bet old Bill would do something if he was still running things.

Like the above post said, check the recoil string first a good cleaning and some GOOD quality gun grease (wilson combat 10 cc syringe) works great on the rails should resolve your problem
