Is there any information on Ruger producing the 1911 in other calibers? I would really like a .38 Super to go with my .45ACP.

Thanks Jim

Since I am cheap and like to shoot a lot I would like to see 9mm. I shoot the heck out of my RI 9mm Tactical and 'save up' to shoot my SR1911

just reload and shoot the heck out of both of them you could cut the costs of the .45's by 2/3's

FYI

CDNN has the Taurus PT1911 in 38S for $399. Its a loaded gun with lots of addons and options if you can stand the stainless and gold pimped out color scheme.

If the had the same gun in 9mm I'd be all over it, and I'd just spray the gold parts with silver paint.

If I wanted a 38S I'd snag one in a minute.

They're good shooters if you can get past the Taurus name and the gold doo dads.

I have a 10mm Delta Gold Cup and a 10mm Dan Wesson in the 1911 world. I keep my eyes open for both autos and revolvers in the S&W World. DA revolvers like the 610 and later 310. I love my Ruger SA revolvers with two cylinders. I have a few in 9mm/357mag and 45ACP/45LC. Come on Ruger do one in 10mm and 40S&W.
