That’s nothing compared to the lawyer and banker in South Carolina.
 
How come we never hear about what happens to the perp's stolen monies? Reimbursed to the victims? Is the perp's ill-gotten gains sold to pay off the victims? Do the lawyers, courts get paid their costs first???
 
I favor a big expansion of the death penalty, to include "white collar" crime, especially if it involves swindling old folks. Despicable people like this need to be weeded out.
 
Well, I ever meet her. Sounds like she was a civil lawyer, not any criminal defendants. I know the prosecution, wondered if he retired yet or not. The feds and state will fight over her estate as to who gets what after its sold or seized and sold. Just guessing she would not live in a house under 2 million in Lake Oswego.
