optical sight for a MK III

Just obtained a nice High Standard Supermatic Tournament .22 auto, so I'm thinking about putting a dot, laser, or low-powered scope on my MK III target. Any suggestions? I have about zero experience with optical sights of any kind on handguns, but thought since I've now got the H-S for open sight work, I might play around with a sight of some sort on the Ruger.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. My shooting buddy has a dot mounted on one of his High Standard .22 autos. It's fun shooting at pieces of clay birds and whatnot on the 100 yard berm between rifle work sets. That's probably what mine will do, mostly - although I can see it being handy for pest control around home, too.

I'll check out the models you suggested.

i used to use a Fastfire on my MKIII, it is now on another gun.
its a fun dot but it takes some practice to get used to it. at first you will find yourself "fishing" for the dot...

but, like everything, practice remedies this and it can be pretty fun.
