Anyone else own one of these knives? I bought one for my wife the other day...it's their most popular size, #8, with an olive wood handle. Having spent many years in Europe, she loves the thing. Opinels have always felt a little cheap to me, being a Case/Kershaw kinda guy. It does seen pretty rugged though....
Anyone else?

I think they are awesome little knives. They are light weight and I'm sure wouldn't hold up to much stress. I've got the Number 8 also. I've used it off and on for years and years.

Here in this video, the guy goes on and on how nice they are. He said in 1985, the Victoria and Albert Museum included the Opinel knife in their 100 best design exhibit.
