On layaway

Got a call from my local gun shop saying they got in a very clean Super Blackhawk, and did I want to look at it.

I did. Finished my coffee and headed over. It was a very nice new model SBH without even a cylinder ring, and they wanted a hair over $300 for it. Down on gun money, so I thought about putting it on layaway. However, in the meantime, they put out a very clean 1988 model Redhawk. Not a scratch on the steel, and original grips in almost perfect shape. About a hundred more than the SBH.

So, the Redhawk is on layaway, and someone else will get a very nice SBH, if they jump on it.

BTW - the same store got in a huge shipment of Bear Creek bullets. Have to replenish my stock of 44's and 45's.
