two weeks ago I picked up a real nice 3 screw single six 22lr with the old dovetailed rear sight. I shot it last week and it is sure a wonderful shooting gun. been wanting one for a while. it out shoots my SS single six

must remember the older "pre magnum" (1959-60) guns, the bore diameter is appox. .002" smaller in diameter, so have normally been more accurate, for the most part..........sounds like a nice one, enjoy it...........

It only had a little blue wear at the muzzle but its in great condition. It goes great with my 3 screw Blackhawk 357.

My first good revolver was a convertible single six I bought new around 1962. I shot it a lot. It was stolen from me about 1969. Some years ago I found this one that looked new, I think made in 1958 or 1959. The one on top. The other is a .32 H&R mag.

Nice examples. I'm adding an early one to my wish list.
