I was just wondering... I have an old model single six that doesn't have the adjustable sights. You can file the front sight and tap the rear site for adjustment, but I'm wondering if these revolvers are too precious to mess with that way and if the newer ones are just as good. Because then I'd be tempted to sell/trade this one off and get a newer one.

Any feedback??

todd, how does yours shoot? i have an 1972 Om 22lr/22wmr. same sights as yours. mine shoots great , dead center. the only problem i have is it shoots "high". so i need a taller sight or to adjust. mine is going back to ruger for repairs so they might install a taller sight.

is your model a shooter a a collector piece.my opinion if its a collector dont mess with it, if its a shooter ... shoot it and have fun.

just my opinion.

there are lots of helpful and knowledgeable people on here that will be able to help you better than i.
