I know this is little information for the question, But, what is the value of a 1959 357 Flat Top Blackhawk with a 10" barrel. I don't have a picture to show but I believe it to be a 88-90% gun. Blueing is good, grips are good, lock up and end shake is good. Very light, hardly noticeable, turn ring. Has a very good trigger and not converted. The only down side I saw on the gun was the previous owners initials and a date on the frame in front of the trigger guard on the bottom. Very small letters. I have heard mention of a OM Flat Top with a 10" pipe but this is the first I've seen.

10" .357 Flatties are at or about $1600--$2000 on the RENE price guide, in "mint" condition, of course.

Proper original box and papers would bring even more, so you're still in the ballpark. All depends on your "gotta have it" factor.

As mentioned on the "other" Rugerforum . . . "we will expect pictures".
Well guys..... I went to pick up the Flat Top today but left without it. Mark was at the counter logging in a revolver he had just traded for........MY Holy Grail.... a GP100 in 327 Fed Mag, as new in box for a good bit less than the Flat Top. I brought home the GP100 instead. if I can figure out pictures I'll post some.

You passed on an OM FT for a new GP in 327 huh? Well, I'd mosey back to that shop & put that FT on layaway before somebody else snags it!

In all of my years of collecting Rugers, I started in 1963, with my first. I never found a 357, 10 in. Flattop in a gun shop. I only had a chance to buy 3 from other collectors and I bought all three of them. One of them I traded for 3 flattops and a set of Ruger Factory Stags. This guy need this 10 in Flattop bad. After all a 10 in. Flattop is one of the hardest Rugers to find. I came out good on that deal as I need all three guns for my collection. On the other hand if a 327 is your holy grail then I understand your decision, and after all you only have to answer to yourself, not everyone on this forum. But being a collector and knowing how hard it is to find a 357 10 in. Flattop it runs chills up and down my spine to think about walking away from a very very rare Ruger.
Pictures are supposedly on the way and but the shop said it did have the original owners name very nicely engraved on the main frame by the cylinder.

It's initials and a date, pretty small, in front of the trigger guard on bottom of frame.
Lot of observable wear on this 10''. Also Seems to these eyes that the front sight has been flatted/lowered a bit. At $1150, I passed. Think I can forward the photos I received from the seller, (to your email).............if you PM me.

I agree with our stalwart. Too much wear for me unless I just wanted a 10" and wanted to gave it refinished for my personal collection.

There used to be a gun shop in Pahrump, Nevada. He had a Old Model Super Blackhawk that he said was worth a fortune and he claimed it to be a Flat Top. Somebody told him a Flat Top 44 Mag with a 7 1/2" barrel was really scarce.(Well I guess they are) I took a Flat Top and a Protected Sight gun and showed them to him and he still claimed it was a Flat Top and got mad at me. I wonder why he went broke.
