lets find the "D" numbered guns. The reference list show them to be from 10395 to 10895.
I have
10550
10747
10848
10866
none have D on them, does anyone have one with a D or a matching number?

good luck, my wife had a few D 41 mags Blackhawks, years ago,and we never did find any "match" and in fact was told back in the day, whoever called, or wrote in "first", they had the FIRST D gun, and none were marked anyway,,,,,,hmmm, go figure

I think there was one Maine collector who had a barrel length that was confirmed to be the duplicate serial number (with no D of course) because the matching serial number was the other barrel length.

that was my point, when Laura had called it in, they did say it was a "duplicate" and as she had called first, hers was the first shipped?? casue they would BOTH be the same date??? go figure...and no neither one she had was marked with a "D" and she too had two different barrel lengths, just NOT the same serial numbers.........

Yeah....there are a few blocks of Ruger SA's that are known as duplicate guns but were never stamped with a "D". I did an article on the known blocks several years ago in RENE.
A collector in Texas has three matching serial numbered pairs without the "D", including the famous "L" and "R" pair of 138xxx range Single-Sixes, a matching pair of 5-1/2" RSS5X #466811 and a RSS4X/RSS5X matching serial numbered pair #467882.
