I don't have the numbers, but I do know they weren't made for many years before they stopped making them. If you find one, at a fair price, I'd buy it.

He's saying it is a bad idea to have your email address just sitting out there in a normal post. There are computer programs out there that scroll through all computer boards looking for open email addresses. Those addresses then end up getting added to lists for junk email. Put your email address into your profile. Not as a part of your signature. Or just use PM's. If you need a photo or something sent to you, you can always send them a PM with your email address.

I don't know actual numbers either; but the fixed sighted models have become as scarce as hens teeth. When you find one, it is at a hefty price tag. The stainless ones are real eyecatchers; but for shooting sake, I prefer the blued ones on a bright sunny day.
I have a pair in blue and those are very hard to find as well.
