Curious if anyone has had the ROA rechambered to something other than .45 cal or .50 cal. ? More specifically...rechambered to anything of a centerfire metallic cartridge? What's the cylinder length on them?

If you search a bit, there's a thread on that very subject here somewhere, and it is explained in detail why it would, at best, be very expensive.

I know of the conversion cylinders for 45 Colt and 45acp. Other then the .50 Blackpowder conversion that is all I have seen but then again I haven't looked a lot.

Hmmm, I tried a search...I'll retry.

Initially thought new bbl and cylinder (wanting it styled after the conversion cylinders to retain the look.

Are you thinking something other than those calibers? Like maybe .357 Mag/.38 Spcl? I don't know of anyone who has had the caliber reduced, but I don't see why it wouldn't be possible with a rebarrel...
