I got the AC556 a while back, last October. That is excitement on a whole different level. I just saw the NFA cashed my check for the can for it today. I have to save that for special occasion shooting because the happy switch is just too irresistible.

I haven't picked a name for this one yet Bill.

Dang, I thought more people would be annoyed at my lack of details.

I finally got my 10MM GP100 back from Clements. Its sick. The range was kinda busy today so I only put a few hundred rounds through it. I turned in several 3" groups at 25 yards off hand. It was more accurate with my .40 S&W handloads than with the BVAC 10mm 180 grain factory loads, which is fine with me since I will be mainly shooting .40 through it anyway. I like that it takes S&W 646 moon clips and Brownells keeps them in stock.

Yep this was a pawn shop score for $400. It was pretty new when I got it, the serial number indicates 2009 production.

The GP is really well balanced with the 10mm bore, the cylinder doesn't look thin in the walls at all and since Ruger wisely made the notches between the chambers there is still plenty of meat in there.

If my previous track record on custom guns continues, we can expect to see a 10mm GP100 made by Ruger in the next two years.

Yes, it uses full moon clips so it'll shoot .40 S&W. I shot both the other day and while is was very accurate with both, my .40 S&W handload was a little more accurate than the 10mm.

I loaded it up with the 10mm first and had a pretty strong grip on it and it thumped pretty good, once I relaxed a little bit it seemed a lot tamer.
