Odd Ruger patch

The patch on the left looks like the machine goofed up while being made. Or is it the new Russian version :shock: Patch on the right is the normal patch :wink:

Good one Rick, I'm sure it's a stitching machine error. maybe that needle thread broke or ran out :)
I believe that patch was made from 1980-1997.
 
Hank, I am sure it is some machining error. Bird looks like he is trying to flex some muscle or just got plucked :shock: . I like finding that oddball stuff. :wink: I have a guy sending me some factory proto / sample patches from the 1980's 8)

I agree! No matter what happened it's a very neat patch! Funny how screwed up stuff isn't worth a tinker's dam when it's new, but give it a few years and presto! Instant value! ;)
 
I too like finding "mistakes" in our Ruger stuff. I have several different ones myself. Maybe a few pics later.
