Anyone have an octagon 44 Blackhawk? Like to see a picture as I want to see different barrels lengths before I send off. Thanks in advance.

Here is a couple of octagon barrelled blackhawks, one is an old model flat top 44 Special conversion with the brass bisley frame and the other is a browned 44 mag bisley by Clements. Gallagher did the 44 special.

This one is a old model blackhawk converted to the #5 gripframe with an octagon barrel.

Finally this one is a 414 Supermag based on a Maximum that wears a 7 1/2" octagon barrel. The first three all wear 5 1/2" barrels.

Not to drive off topic, but Freedom Arms has made some Model 83's with octagon barrels and they look fantastic too.

I always enjoy looking at photos of Robb's collection.

Very nice. I think I like the looks of the barrels in the 5.5" length. Thank you for posting.

I personally find the 5 1/2" length just about right for most of what I do with a single action. The 7 1/2'er was selected to take better advantage of good sized does of slow burning powders in the longer 414 case.

Hey Robb, how about a few more pics of the finish on that browned 44 mag? I have been contemplating getting one browned, but I've found very few places that will/can do it. That one and the 414 are my favorites of those posted.
