Have gun-will travel
Single-Sixer
My latest acquisition. S&W mod 58 , nickel finish 41 Magnum. Made in 1966. Grips not original but it feels good in my hand.
I know my husband echoes that sentiment! He wishes he had picked one up. He tells the same was often true with the S&W 38/44 revolvers. Who wants a big, heavy N Frame .38 Special? So people passed on them and now the prices people as and get for them...I remember when gun shops couldn't give model 58s away. "hard to find, expensive ammo, no adjustable sights, etc.." I've seen them lay in a display case marked $150 and could have been bought for less with no takers. Try to find one now...
Nice . 41, BTW.
Yeah but try and find ammo for it. Fortunately Tanfoglio made the later witness series and the slides are interchangeable. I have 2 9mm and 2 40S&W and the original 41AEI like the 41ae.
