i been craving a pump action 22 for a while now and today i FINALLY found one! i picked up a high standard sportking p100 with a tasco scope on it from my lgs! it does have a crack in the stock but i believe i can repair it rather easily! didnt expect to find a pump 22 since i havent found one yet in the 2 months i been lookin but i went anyways just for fun!

well here is my score (at least i think its a score)! i picked it up for 119 and it included a 100 rd box of mixed ammo. please tell me what you think....good deal? bad deal? any ideas of value?

Cool! I like the little pump .22s, I've been eyeing an older Remington, but the price is pretty steep at $349 for what it is.

i looked at the rems online and i was dying over the price a 439 and up thats why when i saw this little gem for 120 i swooped it up right away! well after gettin permission from the wifey!

Nice looking little gun, Campbell. I love pump anything. I hope it shoots great for you. I know nothing of High Standard.

The Remington 572 is kind of high, but worth every penny. I think my dad taught all 3 of us kids to shoot with it. I laid claim to it a long time ago. And, stole it this past fall for plinking. I put a scope on it when I got my 10/22. Shot it a bunch in the winter. Now, the winds are too high to shoot it with the scope on it. So, snatch one up if you can ever afford it, and don't tell the wife until after you put a couple of bricks through it. LOL Remember, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. :wink:
