Hi y'all from wilds of the Pine Barrens, down in the 51st State, South Jersey (we don't associate with those North Jersey types). I own and have owned many Ruger firearms. I am a retired police officer. I was a lieutenant (patrol commander) in a 100-officer department. I left in 2000 and became a fraud investigator for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. I did that for twenty years and am now a fully retired man of leisure. Hoping to make some friends here and enjoy the banter. My latest acquisition is a Ruger Security-9, which I took delivery of about a week ago. I'm having some issues with it and hope for some advice. I'll post about those issues in the appropriate thread.

Welcome, spent a year at Mc Guire AFB in 74, don't know if it's considered north or central Jersey. Man that was a lifetime ago. Love the avatar, I was riding a TR6-C back then. Currently on a 900 Street Scrambler, no pics cause this forum is about Rugers...

I was at McGuire AFB this spring for the open house/air show. It's south of Trenton, so it's cool.
