NM Blackhawk upgrade

To give you a definite answer: yes and no.

The Ruger Bisley hammer requires considerable fitting to re-contour the hammer.

I believe Dave Clements makes a drop-in, more or less, hammer.

Takes a lot of work and EVERY second of time it takes is worth it. Research the work then wait a while to get the parts once you decide to do it. Then TAKE YOUR TIME for the fitting. If you have patience, you can do it.

Before you trace your old hammer, make sure it’s flush to the grip frame ears.

Use the hammer pivot pin to hold the hammers together and scribe both sides, then grind, file and re-blue the portion you filed away(if blued).

Wow! good responses. Would it be simpler to install a Super BH hammer then?
I'm looking at a shooter grade .41 mag that I would like to put a better hammer on....and if she shoots well enough maybe even do the Turnbull $450 CCH/Charcoal package?

With very few exceptions, the SBH is as easy a 'drop in' as anything is. Just about as hard to find as a Bisley hammer. And just as handy as a Bisley in my opinion, comparison:
