Nice day yesterday!

Yesterday was one of those rare beauties - bright and clear, mild temperature, slight breeze blowing that just felt good against your cheek.

I made breakfast , my sausage and biscuits, for Nita and me. Even cleaned up the kitchen to give Nita a "day off." After lunch we went to a new to us antique mall. Spent nearly two hours there browsing around. Nita bought a fancy trinket box, and I bought two small cigar boxes (y'all know I have a thing for wood boxes for my work shop) and an Old Spice shaving mug.

I subscribe to that axiom, "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." And it takes so little effort to keep the jewel that I have happy!

The last couple days had their points on each end of the spectrum for Theresa and me. Tuesday we wanted to take a ATV ride and I blew a truck tire about two miles out of town. Used my AAA card for I think the first time for me in 30 or 40 years. The guy got my spare on for me and I took the truck to town and got the tire fixed and tires rotated. So---- Wednesday we go for a nice but short ride up the mountain. Then we take the rig, truck, trailer with the RZR on it to eat at near by St. George, about 45 miles from our place. Coming back on I-15 I again this time blew TWO Tires on the drivers side of the truck at the same time! Drivers side. I didn't see anything I hit but I must have. This was on a overpass and it was the worst place to get a flat in a hundred miles! We got rescued by AAA again for the second day in a row. I think I got took this time as I also had to pay the tow truck driver a extra $100s to hook up the trailer and ATV too. I was over a barrel and it was no place or time to argue their procedure. He gave me a song and dance that I would have to call AAA the second time for the trailer and wait. I gave him a $20 tip besides the $100. Yesterday I went and got a new set of truck tires for $1050s. Then I asked for the two that wasn't blew as they will fit Theresa`s truck. They still look fine to me.
The good news?? We didn't get killed.
