I read they have a good kick with the .454 loads but I'll be shooting .45 cowboy loads in the .454 cases mainly.
For what it is I was surprised at how good the fit and finish is. The action seems stiff but this is my first lever action so maybe that's normal? The manual that it came with is pretty generic. No disassembly instructions so gonna have to research the teardown method so I can give it a good initial cleaning and inspection.
