I got a used p89. GS employee says rifling is weak. Not sure he knew what he was talking about. How do I tell? It doesn't look that much different from others I have seen and he wasn't even familiar with breaking it down. Everything else looks good. What is weapon worth? Thanks for your help.

I've never seen a P89 with weak rifling from either the factory or from shooting it.
I put nearly 10k rds thru mine and it still shot just as accurate as the day I brought it home, so the rifling didn't get any worse.
If it looks like it's in very good-excellent condition I wouldn't worry about it. If it looks like a well used range rental I'd pass.
