Hello, I am new to the Ruger world. About a year ago, I got a Ruger 22/45 pistol. My first Ruger and my first pistol. Shot guns and rifles have been my flavor for hunting. I have enjoyed just plinking with the pistol. Cleaning the pistol has been interesting and has inspired me to think of a new way to takedown the gun and reassemble it. So I have invented the All In One Tool for the MK I, II, III, and 22/45 pistols.

Brownells, the world's largest supplier of gun parts, put the tool through their tests. They gave it an A+.

I have seen the Kimber strip kits but not the takedown tool. I just have not seen any simple takedown tool that can also aid in reassembling for the Ruger Mark series pistols. People who have used my tool say it makes the job much easier. Thanks for your thoughts.

Welcome. Good luck with your invention. I wish you well. I, however, can disassemble my MK III a lot faster than you can using only a paper clip and the rug on my bench.
 
Thanks for all the encouraging words!!! The tool has helped a lot of people that are frustrated. Please pass my idea on to those people who are sturggling.
 
Hi. Good to see good old American ingenuity and capitalism in action. Best of luck, hope you sell a million of them. Since you asked what we think, here are some thoughts regarding the Youtube video:

FYI:
It's a pistol or handgun, not a gun.
It's a magazine, not a clip.
It's a grip frame, not a handle.

You might want to look at a Mk III owner's manual for correct terminology. The product looks well done, your presentation should be as professional as you can make it. Details do matter to lots of people.

If your product is red maybe the one on Youtube should be red too unless you're worried about visibility. The white one on Youtube looks a little raggedy on the edges, do these wear out pretty fast? Great idea and execution of the product, wish you great success.
 
Yes it will come with an instruction booklet the font is 12 the style is Times Roman. I need reading glasses and I can read it. I will send a downloadable booklet to anyone who wants it. Thanks Earl for the gun dictionary thoughts, I will make them next edit. The white one in the Youtube clip was a prototype made out of PVC. The red ones are the manufactured delrin. They will not wear out and can even be hammered if necessary. One of the red delrin tools has been used over a 1000 times with no wear. I now have a white delrin tool so yes, a more professional clip is coming.
 
OP: another possible edit point to consider, the black gun on the (mostly) black background was hard for me to visualize easily.

I am impressed with the features/design of your tool though.
Be sure to post your next version of the video.

+1 = same here, would not be for me as I can tear down & reassemble in no time flat

However, for those who may have hand troubles, dexterity issues. etc I can see its useful application for them

As said by others get the terms right so as to present yourself as professional as you can (wrong terms like clip takes a lot away for me)

I wish you well, as it does have several different well thought out features

The next video is being made in the Brownells studio. Still a few weeks away. Their research team put the tool through extensive tests before they decided to add the tool to their inventory.

I am very proud that the tool is a USA made tool keeping the jobs right here. I believe the tools are of the highest quality because of that. The tool in the video, on You-tube was cut out of PVC in my garage. The red ones you see at amazon come from the factory, again they are made out of delrin. I just got the amazon account started a few days ago. My first on-line sales of the tool. I have been selling them at local gun shops in Indiana. I have had lots of great reviews. One 70 year old gentleman told me he doesn't need help to clean his gun anymore, he can do it himself. One new gun owner told me that he had been able to take the gun apart and put it back together; but he always made a few mistakes and had to start over. Now with the tool he can do it the first time everytime. Thanks for all the great questions and comments.
 
Thanks guys for your support. I have sold to just about every gun store in Indianapolis. The only one not interest said that He did not like Ruger. I did'mt ask why just wished him well and thanked him for his time. Can you give me any contacts of stores that I could call to see if they would like to carry the tool?
