New to Me Pistol

Just have to show this beauty off. Picked her up today and after a couple of hours of diligent indepth scrubbing and reassembly, I'm happy to say she conducts herself with grace and accuracy. Ruger Mark III Hunter is her name.


I should add, she was born in 2009.

It's the 4th Ruger I've purchased this year. Others include a 1911 Commander; LC9s Pro; and a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. Love them all, but special attention is being paid to the MK III at present.

Question: I want to put a Red Dot Reflex on top and I don't have a clue as to what to look for; any suggestions?

I installed a "loaded chamber indicator" and a Hammer Bushing today (Tandemkross), great upgrades.

It's already got the best dern sights on it.... any cheap red dot will work... try to find one with a 1 MOA dot (smaller) one and also once you get it ... keeping the dot on a minimum illumination setting works better than it's brightest one.
