I have "heard" that the later model 77/22's have screwed in barrels. Can anyone confirm for sure if the barrels on the newest 77/22's are threaded in or still use the dovetail attachment method? Thanks, RJ.

They are screwed in like the Hornet.

Thanks Matt. I like that better, although this one shoots little tiny groups with it's dovetail attached barrel.

Strange how that works RJ, my Hornet is accurate enough for me, but my .22LR and .22WMR are more accurate.
