I have several big bore Ruger single actions and was at the indoor range today .... they have a limited supply of new and used guns....there, looking up at me was a brand new Single Six in stainless....beautiful little gun...I've had single six's off and on over the years but this little guy really caught my eye...it's the shorter barrel (4 5/8?) and really outstanding grip grain...fits my hand....they want $520 plus tax.

Question from someone that might have first hand experinece with the new (not new model but new) single six's...I'd heard they were having some problems with them and that they may not be of the quality that the older ones might have been....I really like the looks of that little gun but might rather get another Bisley .45 colt or something....but again....fit my hand really nice...oh my

I have one just like that and it is a FAVORITE. A GREAT little gun, and shoots best with 22 magnum, but not at all bad with 22lr.

BUY IT! They are at times hard to find in that configuration.

I have one of the new model stainless 4-5/8 SS, one of the lipsey's exclusives. One of my favorite shooters, I did add a wolff spring kit,
and that made a good gun great for me. No issues at all, shoot, reload, repeat until ammo runs out.

Mine is my favorite Single Six. It shoots on par with my 617, and both of my 9 1/2 Single Sixes. It also happens to have the best timing I have ever seen on a new model. In my opinion I would probably pick it up, they just don't make a whole lot of them.
