Did you see this at Davidson's?? They don't have any yet but it should not be long.
I like the look for a personal firearm, not over-done. Grips are very nice indeed. :D

Resurrecting an old thread...

My pimpy side has just emerged, and I'm interested in one of these.

The auction prices I've seen are $630 to $1095, but the auctions remain untouched.

So...What are they really selling for? Has anyone actually seen one for sale?

Thanks.
WAYNO.

My dealer quotes $650 and he is usually pretty fair. The $630 is probably as low as they go, considering the MSRP is $1095. I wish we could buy just the grip inserts.

Local dlr has one for $650 range, I think. Yeah, wish I could buy inserts for my SP and 3" GP. They look really good in person.

I will pass on this one.. "Huggy Bear" might like it though, along with his gold plated Desert Eagle..

Does that thing come with a gold tooth? I think they should have it available with purple grips and in a gold finish (to match the tooth). I'm not suggesting that it looks tacky. No, not at all.

The grips are Altamont but alas they don't have those for sale. :(
I sense a niche market. :D

It is a fine gun especially with the 2 1/4 inch barrel. It has just the kind of kick that I love especially with the .357 round. Got mine for my 40th birthday. You know kind of a present to myself. The engraving is nicely done and the grip inserts are top-notch quality. I won't call it my home defense gun because if the day ever came that I had to defend my life, that would be the day that the cops will take my gun (for CSI) and I will never see it again. So why use such a nice gun to defend myself. Nope, this gun is the perfect barbecue gun.

I don't suppose they made it in 3"? I've been meaning to get my SP101 engraved but I might be able to hold off for a while with one of those in my holster.

I have had one of these on order, for maybe a month. Davidson's has been out of them.

Then, just today, Davidson's contacted my FFL, and said one of these little beauties is on its way.

Yay! A snub-nosed BBQ gun! Now I wont feel underdressed, going to my favorite BBQ restaurant.

Can't wait.

I'll post a picture or two, when I actually see it.

WAYNO.

Wow.....I like it a lot....maybe too much.
For the past couple of years, I been selling or trading off every gun that I realy don't need, or can't use as retirement money later. But $650 for an American made, engraved, stainless steel, heavy duty hideout gun that would outlast my grand kid's kids?.... Sounds like a deal too good to pass on.

If that thing was offered in a 3" version, I would have already lost control.

Rugerfan, WAYNO,

Congratulations, enjoy. I'm with the lovers, wife even said I could get one! I'm being the voice of reason on this, gotten enough revolvers this year (never thought I'd say that), and there are still three on the list.
