It was my intention of buying no more guns before the end of the year. I've gotten a little carried away. (I might have mentioned that earlier) but I just happened to be looking on gun broker yesterday and noticed one, and it hadn't even been bid on, so I thought, what the heck I'll start it at the minimum bid, $5 won't keep any one from bidding on this nice gun. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/595171440 Boy was I surprised when I found out it only got one bid....MINE. Ok, I am not going to buy any more guns before the end of the year.....probably. :) :) Now I need to find a pair of Pachmayr compacs for it. Anyone got a pair they want to sell?

Great revolver. Ruger needs to come up with some kind of replacement for it.
BPJ, I have a Pachmyer grip that I had on a Security Six. I believe they are the Compac's. They are yours my friend. I checked the grips. They are Pachmyer Presentation grips. If you want them I will send them. Phone call to Marlin. My grips won't fit. :oops:

I have an extra set of the round butt Pacmayer Speed Six grips.
I can bring them to Boise in Jan.
That is the best model of Speed Six in my mind - the scalloped frame has a thicker top strap and therefore a deeper sight channel. It also has the lighter barrel.

I saw that Ruger Speed Six, very nice. I have a blue one that I just love. Too bad they don't still make it. I don't have the grips you wish but just wanted to chime in on a great buy!
