Just cleaned revolver and when I try to install trigger group something keeps it from snapping up. Pawl and transfer bar are in correct places, but just can't seem to get it to snap up. Trigger guard latch is out of the way. I do notice that in assembling the cylinder and crane assembly that I have to push it rearward with some effort to get the cylinder to close. I have looked and looked, but can't seem to find what is keeping trigger guard from swinging into position.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forum.

I can't answer your question 'cause I don't disassemble during cleaning, sorry.

Thank you for your input. I put the trigger under a 'good' light and noticed that a pivot pin was not exactly centered and was protruding (almost not visible to naked eye), so I centered it and the trigger group now is in the pistol. Amazing the tolerances that keep things from happening!
