new ruger #1 in 460S&W picked up today, with 40 new cases

i was offered a new in the box ruger #1A in .460 S&W with 40 new cases at a very good(couldn,t refuse)price. can i load for it useing my 45 colt dies untill i get 460 dies? eastbank.

yes it,s a blue 1-S, # 134-36246, i just looked on the end of the box. i can,t get pic,s to post. eastbank.

According to the records I have, that should be a 2011 manufacture. Good pick up!

According to this article the answer is yes and you can shoot 45 Colt, 454 Casull and the 460 S&W in the gun. - who knew?
