Just thought I would post a few pics'... the grips were an unexpected bonus from Ruger Customer Service.

YEP!... they're a strange, yet interesting color to me.
I was hunting for something in the black-silver laminate like the SBH grips... but what the heck... good enough for me!

T-Grips will probably be installed.

What's the story on the wood grips? Did you return the gun for service or something? The first thing I did after buying my 4 inch Redhawk was order the wood grips from Ruger. You will also need the grip panel locator for the wood grips.

The story goes like this... when I got my new gun I had a rear sight problem and even with a new replacement from Ruger I couldn't fix the problem.

I requested a "call-tag", shipped it out and in my short description of the problem I asked "did Ruger make a (gray) laminate grip for the Redhawk?... if so... could they get me one?" and so I waited for the repair work to get done.Turn around was less than one week... "knock-knock" hmmm?... UPS!

I opened the box and WOW!... crazy colored laminate grip panels and a new grip-locator. As I posted already, I had to shamefully ask Ruger Service for the grip-screw. The nice lady made sport of me and said as a joke... "boy' you can't please anyone these days" she took care of it and it's in the mail.

I wrote the CEO and gave up my sincere thanks to the company.

You will be happy with the rubber grips if you shoot bufflobore Ruger only ammo.

That is the exact gun I wished I had bought rather than my gp100. Love my gp just wish it was a 45 colt. I'm jealous!
