Picked this up today. Appears to be Type 4, has 8 groove barrel. Vintage 1960. I was impressed with the walnut on the grips. Ser#294xx.

That's good news. Seems like the supply of nice Rugers has been drying up out here in the West Valley jn the last year or so.
