I believe that is the finest factory set-up one can have ! I have one in .41 and .45 colt. Hope to get a .44 one day for a complete set.

You'll love it. I've got the .44 (sans scope) and it's a sweet shooter. Tames even the wildest load (within reason, of course...).

Way to go Mike, :D now look how hard it is going to be to get a good target in the handgun shoot this month. Oh well.

Nice sixgun Mike! I saw Jeff use his 45 version on a very large cow elk last year. 120 yards, open sights and a dead elk within 2-3 steps. Impressive performance from the Ruger and the Hoover!!! Congrats on the new toy!

I'm with Zeus,, I was there too. Jeff took his elk about an hour after I took mine,, and I know his aim was true,, and the gun did it's job quite well.
And Jeff,, to have a set,, you'll need a few others I believe. (Maybe not all Bisley's,, but in the Hunter variety! :D Try finding a 17 cal convertable,,,!)

Definitely a great choice, I have the .44 and I can attest to it's accuracy, with a proper handload it really shines, a fine shooter indeed!
