I picked up a blued one this weekend!

5 1/2 in barrel, 22 LR and 22 WMR cylinder (with matching serial number, green bag/yellow drawstring, and white factory box stating "single six, .357 blackhawk, .45 blackhawk"), a hunter holster, and hunter belt for $300.

I really couldn't pass it up for the price when I saw the accouterments.

There is one scrape on the frame behind the trigger guard, and some holster wear to the muzzle. It also has a slight wear ring/drag line on the cylinder, but overall looks pretty damn fine to me.

SN is 69-xxxxx. Anyone know right off hand when this was made? I am thinking early 90's (but I have been wrong before) :)

That's the time in Ruger history when the company were phasing out cylinder bags for their Convertible SA's and rifle rings. When the red bags were used up, they went to a host of other colors that must have been in their "stockpile". I've seen red, blue, green, orange and brown.
Jay: Send me a PM on the sn of your gun so I can note that in the reference of Ruger firearms as I'm sure somebody will have a question in the future asking when Ruger quite using felt bags for their extra cylinders and rifle rings.
