New Model SA Questions

I am an Old Model guy, until very recently, all but one of my single action revolvers was a new model. Not only do I now own 5 more new model hunters, I am also considering a new model .357. I have some questions about the grip frames and grips.

How do the new model single-six frames compare in size to the new model SBH frames?
If the Blackhawk grip frame is larger (longer), can I fit one to a single-six?
What is the difference in grips for the new model SBH with and without the square trigger guard?

Well, I missed this thread- but yes, a NM Super Gripframe will fit on a Single Six. Here’s one on an OM Single Six. This is a Super Hunter grip frame.

However- if you really want something comfortable, unique, and well designed- go over to RW Gripframes.

You will find an amazing selection of both original style and custom grip frames there. There is fitting involved but it’s not hard. Or Ronnie can fit it up for you for $150, last time I checked. Here’s a NM Single Six with a brass “Dealer “ frame.

I'm actually glad you reminded me of this thread!!! The whole reason for the original post was I wanted a Ruger Blackhawk .357 that matched my Ruger Marlin SBL....

Not an exact match, but it will do....

The Marlin, at 50 yards, will shoot a perfect daisy, right through the X.
