Hey everyone,
Just joined the forum! Not new to Ruger, though - I've had like 27 of 'em over the years, and I've lost count, haha! Right now I've got 14 Rugers and a bunch of other guns, too. Just got a sweet SS Bisley Blackhawk .45C/acp with a 5.5" barrel - it's a beauty, can't wait to take it to the range! Thanks.

New gun sounds like a John Taffin Tribute ... Mind the rear sight pivot pin - they tend to drift out to the right ...
I put a bit of oil into the nooks and crannies of mine (also 5.5 SS) and have been dry firing a lot - it really loosened up nicely.
I haven' t shot it yet as I told a fellow he could bow hunt my place & I don't want to interfere nor risk a friendly fire. When archery season closes and the weather warms I'll be making noise!
